PRACTICE PROFILE

 

Caroline is an experienced criminal advocate. She is instructed to prosecute and defend in a wide range of cases including historic sex offences, multi-handed fraud, blackmail, armed robbery, large scale drug supply, threats to kill and domestic violence. Her extensive experience also includes dealing with mentally disordered offenders and successfully conducting hearings under section 4A of the Criminal Procedure (Insanity) Act 1964.

 

Caroline has specific experience in prosecuting and defending cases involving stalking and coercive control. She also has recent experience in prosecuting and defending cases involving defences under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

 

Caroline is a Level 3 prosecutor on the CPS advocates’ panel. She is also regularly instructed by the National Probation Service to prosecute.

BA (Hons) First Class: Latin with Greek (Durham University)
